Jesse is a graphic designer, illustrator, and photographer with over ten years of professional experience in print, web, and multimedia communications. Like Scott, he grew up on a state-owned research facility. As a kid he was surrounded by experimental field plots filled with mysterious colored flags, strange men with clipboards, and unusual machinery. This environment fed his imagination throughout childhood and continues to influence him today. Whether he is producing work through his illustration and design business Inkleaf Studio or helping to create pixel-perfect web designs for Sons of State, he combines his creativity with experimentation and research to achieve expert results. In his spare time he enjoys reading, traveling, and the outdoors. He also knows where the radioactive cows are buried, but he's been asked to keep that to himself.

Scott Reid

Scott is a software/web developer who has enjoyed the diversity of working in both enterprise and creative environments. Growing up on a state-owned farm, populated by more lab coats than overalls, inspired an inventive youth. Tinkering with code on his first IBM PC at an early age, Scott witnessed the birth of the web and the power it held for both creative media and application development. This experience fueled a desire to play in the world that bridged the gap between business applications and creative services. Today he can be found helping leverage technology through IT consulting, as well as using it to drive web-based media with Sons of State. Scott is a graduate of Case Western Reserve University, and when not pounding away at a keyboard, he enjoys craft brewing hopped-up ales and tearing through Ohio trails on his mountain bike.
